This is our newest addition to our family!! We hummed and hahed about whether or not to get a kitten for the longest time and then just decided to bite the bullet and do it. Ever since we gave up Rosie nearly a year ago, Luke has asked for a dog or a cat nearly every day, he was so desperate for a pet. Grace, well she's not that bothered!! So today we headed to the SPCA in Cranbrook to check out the kittens and when we got there, there were only 4. As soon as we entered the room, this little kitten ran straight for the door meowing as he did it and guess what, thats the one Luke chose. There was this gorgeous tabby that came over and sat on my knee and cuddled but Luke wasn't having a bar of it, he had chosen his kitten ..... done deal! Max came home, and as cute as he is, he is always under foot and wants to be held or at least high enough to see what you're doing .... dinner for example, i'm cooking on the stove and Max climbs up the tea towel and onto the stove-top! First night, i'll keep you updated on his progress! But I'm sure that tonight is going to be a long and noisy one!

Aww, cute! I would love to have a cat but our dog won't let me! She hates cats! :o( I'd be afraid she'd hurt a kitten if we had one :o(
