Shrek 4

Today its been raining and only 5 degrees and its been another slow sunday in our home! we hung out again doing puzzles, reading books and watching Indianapolis 500 (Scott Dixon) for the morning and then Grace headed for a nap, Luke headed to his room to watch a movie and mom headed to Tim Hortons for coffee! Anyways Bindy (our friend) called to say they were heading to see the movie Shrek and did we wanna come, so Luke and I headed off at 2.45pm to catch the 3pm movie. When we were leaving, we said to Luke to get his shoes on and he headed off to his room and i was like where are you going and he replied "to get my movie shoes", baffled ren and i looked at each other and said just wear your trainers that you always wear and he was adamant that he was wearing his movie shoes .... it turns out that when he went to the movie with his mate Tom after we had all had brunch on Easter at Lizard Creek, that he was wearing his black shoes (also from Tom) and they are now his movie shoes!!! too funny how the mind of a 4 year old works but he sure made us laugh!!! When we got to the movie and we met up with our friends, I asked Luke where he wanted to sit and he chose the front row ..... and our friends sat with us, only our necks were sore, he had prime spot!! (the girls - Bindy, Nat, Minnie and Cheryl)
Luke's favourite was Fiona and mine of course was Donkey but Puss in Boots was pretty hillarious too! this movie was definitely darker than the others and Luke was scared a couple of times but for the most part he loved going. Its pretty cool that the movie theatre here in town is offering sunday matinee.
