Today's the day ..... he did amazing! we got there for 8.35am and he took off his boots, put his inside shoes on and headed into the classroom, found some cars and a mat and started to play! that was it, see ya mom and that my friends was it! No tears, no hanging on for dear life, no nothing! and the funny thing is, we've raised him to be independent and to be able to go to places without crying when we leave but deep down, today was the first day I wished for just a little sadness on his part. This afternoon, I was super excited to pick him and find out how his day had gone and have afternoon tea but NO he wanted to go to his friends place instead, first day and he already has a playdate!!
