has been a little upsetting and depressing. We are in the middle of permanent residence h*ll that doesn't seem to be be getting any better, just more frustrating and expensive! But then my little man went and made our day so much brighter! He learned to ride his bike with his training wheels on and then he rode Grace's new run bike when she didn't want to and he loved it. Now he wouldn't ride his bike again so we gave it back to our friend Johnny and Johnny gave us another one to try without training wheels ..... so we tried again and Luke would ride it but would push it with his feet and DID NOT want anyone to help him or hold his seat or even attempt to give him advice! Then today, this evening after dinner the family headed out for a bike ride and we were walking behind him trying to encourage him just to put one foot on the pedal cause his balance is unbelievable, and you totally could tell he would be able to do it but he's scared of the unknown. Coming down the alleyway he put his feet on the pedals and Ren and I just starting screaming "pedal bud, pedal, you can do it" and he did, just took off pedalling and turned our crappy day into the best day ever! Luke is so proud of himself, he has a smile a mile wide and Ren and I, well we're pretty proud of him too :)
