Smiles all Round!

Yay we finally received that email we have been waiting 16 months for .... the Canadian Consulate requested our passports for visa issuance!!! Next step is crossing the Border to have that visa issued and we will be Permanent Residents of Canada!!! That totally made for a brighter time on the weekend, we headed to the Medlicotts on Saturday afternoon to watch New Zealand play Wales in Rugby and the result only made our day better! we had some dinner and the kids played and played. On Sunday our ski hill had the annual Locals Free Day so we caught the chair lift up and had lunch at the Lost Boys Cafe at the top of the Timber Chair and then caught the chair back down .... its amazing to see it in summer and it looks and feels totally different. In the summer time our ski hill opens for downhill bike riding so on the free day the hill was loaded with downhillers! It was the strangest feeling heading down the chair lift especially when you first loaded because you head out and then there's nothing below you and you're like "okay, don't freak out, show the kids its fun" as i'm gripping the bar and my knuckles are turning white! here's a shot when we first loaded Looking up the Timber Chair, the little house to the right at the top is the Lost Boys Cafe some bikes being bought up
