Our Newest Babies ......

Life in the country is starting with a bang! for all our Canadian/American friends, the local country schools have something called calf club, where the kids all rear an animal! the choices are calves, goats, lambs or poultry.  We are starting with lambs, our boys were born 20 days ago and we got them when they were 4 days old ...... sooooooooo cute!

 Feeding them 4 times a day! just like having babies.  it was fun when the sun was shinning but in the pouring rain, howling wind ..... not so much fun!

 They get a bottle each, don't be fooled. One just usually drinks it faster than the other and tries to nudge his brother out of the way!

 In their pen together. Now they are older, we just let them roam around the section and put them back in the pen at night.

This is Gus, he's Luke's boy and he doesn't really like to be patted or led on a lead but he loves to run and avoid being put back in his pen!

For calf club day they need to be led on a lead, do an obstacle course and come when the kids call them! Stay posted for updates .........
