Our day started around noon, Casey and Richard were hard at work long before that!
Casey looked cute as can be with her apron working in her new gorgeous kitchen.
The boys carved the meat, one was on lamb, one was on turkey.
Just realised I haven't uploaded the gravy shots, it was Casey's first time making gravy and Ren and Matt were making sure she was doing it correctly! For the record, she did an awesome job!!
Alana made that dish that looks like toasted marshmallows ...... because it is!! with sweet potato underneath.
Grace and Nina playing kitchen, the huge plate of turkey, the kids table
Beautiful Opehlia and her momma, my dinner YUM and the night started with wine
2 red wines from Missoula and two white wines from New Zealand.
The kids, they played so incredibly well together, there was just fun, no fighting, they all slept (finally) in the same room together and did so well considering how loud the music was from downstairs!!
Totally reminded me of my childhoood!!
These two little beauties were the best of friends this year and it was so cool to see.
Grace is one of those kids that wants to play with the others sometimes and then not really other times.
But Grace and Ophelia spent their time together, laughing and chatting and being pals.
For all those that know Matthew, this is a conversation in photos!
I can't even remember what Matt and Casey were discussing, but as you can see Matt didn't agree and then couldn't believe that Casey would even say what she said ...... HILLARIOUS!!!
Then there are these two!
I swear they have been in love since they first met!
They just gel, they get on, they never fight, they just hang together
they don't even need to be doing something,
they just like being friends!
A huge thank you to our amazing friends, who made the whole weekend an absolute dream, we had fun, we had chaos, we had chill, we had football, we had rugby, we had shopping, we had good fun and good drinks and met new friends. Happy Thanksgiving 2012
