Friday Home Day!

On Friday Luke didn't have school because its Alberta Family Weekend and thats always a really busy day on the ski hill so RCR doesn't want the Academy to ski that afternoon so the Principal declares it a day off each year! On top of that Luke has had a cold for what seems like forever and he was just run down that we decided to stay home and have a quiet day. Then I realised crap, I need to fill the day with activities and thats when "Whatever" saved the day! Meg is amazing, she does craft thursday with her children and her blog really inspires me daily! anyway Meg does a lot of painting with water colors and so I tried it and it was a success, check out the troops! Luke's finished product, cut out and hung on the wall! Grace did a lot of painting underneath her picture! mom helped her finish it before hanging on the wall.
After doing their art and having some lunch, it was time to head outside for some fresh air (-12 degrees celsius). and to top off the really great day, they had a McDonalds picnic in front of the telly.
