Wow it amazes me that we now have a five year old, he's growing up and appears to have changed in appearance overnight .... now he looks like he is a big school boy! We began talking about his birthday party many months ago and we agreed that because he was 5 he could have 5 friends over. Well that turned into 10 and we ended up having it at a local school gym with a bouncy castle!! Its not everyday you turn 5, so lets celebrate!
It was a fun afternoon, kids going crazy running around, playing hockey - shooting the puk into the nets, 
sliding down the bouncy castle 
and of course no party would be complete without an egg and spoon race! 
We ate cake
and opened presents 
and said goodbye to our friends after a great afternoon :)That morning when he got up and came down and spotted the balloons, he thought it was amazing and then he saw his presents and couldn't wait to tear open the paper and find out what he got. Luke asked for pancakes for his brekkie which he dad made and then he played and played with his new presents.
