Trip to the ER

Grace and I headed to the ER a few weekends ago.  She had a terrible cough and with her history we thought it would be better to be safe than sorry.

We're were in there 3 hours before she was seen and then another 30 minutes talking to the doctor and getting a chest xray.  We stayed partly because our friend was the doctor and partly because our family doctor doesn't work Mondays so we knew it was going to be a while before we got in to see her.

Thank goodness for the iphone! This girl is a little trooper, she didn't complain once.  She colored, we made cakes on an app on my phone and we took pictures to entertain ourselves.

She's always so happy, even when she feels like crap.  She made the cake above on the app and then she made me one but we forgot to take a picture of it.

The outcome was she did have a chest infection and we were on antibiotics for 10 days.
