Cooks Beach

After Christmas we headed up to Cooks Beach for a few days with Ox and Taryn and the kids. It was an awesome kiwi bach, 5 min walk with kids to the beach and Mr Whippy visited too. Taryn cooked us some amazing food (as usual) and Ox supplied the entertainment, although he now has a competitor in Ross!It wasn't the warmest of weather but that didn't stop the kids from getting out there and having some fun. Heading to the Estuary to check out the cave and run from the waves. To the beach to build a huge turtle sandcastle which took some instruction and direction One of the days we headed acoss to Whitianga on the ferry for a play in the park and for the ferry ride there and back.Luke and the boys headed out fishing and he was very very very happy with his catch.
