Easter

For all those who know me, you'll understand (or even already know)that easter is my favorite holiday of the year!!! It involves chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate and now having toddlers it also means decorating eggs, having easter hunts and this year searching for pussy willows to make an easter tree!

Since being in Canada we spend our Easter Sunday supper with the Howse extended family. Last year we had the easter egg hunt in the snow and Spook wasn't really interested but this year, he couldn't get enough! Spring had sprung, the snow has melted and the easter bunny put out the eggs and the chocolates all over the front garden and the backyard and let the kids out ... well the girls (all 6 of them) picked up a few and ran to the backyard, Spook (the only boy) on the other hand cleaned up the front garden and filled his bucket within seconds! and he like his mother enjoys a wee bit of chocolate!

The dinner was spectacular and included ham on the bone(two of them!), yummy salads and vegetables, a lot like Christmas only at Easter! There was 12 adults and 12 kids, well 9 little ones and we all had a blast.
