The build up to Christmas this year seemed to be way more chaotic than any year before. I was so much more organised and yet with all the school events and the town busy-ness - it just felt way more chaotic!
But it was fun, I love planning the meals, wrapping the presents and my little buddy Max helped me again this year, although help is a little streeeeeetch!

I finally got all the gifts wrapped the rooms tidied around midnight Christmas Eve. Luke had a little trouble settling into sleep, he wanted to see Santa for himself but after a little explanation about how Santa doesn't visit unless you're asleep he finally went down. They both woke at a respectable time the following morning around 7am and they opened their stockings on our bed (every year they do that!) then we headed upstairs and i put the overnight eggnog french toast in the oven and the onslaught of present opening began!! They laughed, they giggled, they loved every thing they got.
