September 2012

Wow, its been nearly a whole month since my last post and that wasn't even a real post! Life has been crazy this September, a little chaotic and definitely busy.

So its October 4th 2012 and we have snow! not on the ground thank goodness but definitely on the mountains and its -4 today.  All of September was amazingly beautiful, chilly in the morning but getting up to 26 degrees in the afternoon and yet still I am not ready for the snow.

So school is back in session and Luke loves being there, doing the work, not so much! but that hasn't changed! He's busy with his extra-curricular activities: Monday he's learning the Ukelele; Tuesday he goes to the Library after school for Lego Club; Wednesday he has Karate and then on Thursday he wants to go to a club called Spark where they play games and then learn about God.  So today will be his first time there and we'll see how he goes.  Because he's so busy now in the afternoons, we have been getting up a little earlier and completing all our homework in the morning and that seems to be working really well.

Now lets see, what is there to tell you about Flossie! She's crazy funny, going to preschool 5 mornings a week and then to daycare on tuesday afternoons. She loves going to daycare up on the ski hill and its super quiet at the moment.  So on a Tuesday there is only Grace and then a friend's 2 year twins Eli and Cooper who she adores! No activities for Grace, she hangs with mum and runs around dropping her brother off to things and goes out for coffee with mum or calls in on dad's work to say hi.  She has a few playdates and that usually wears her so she'll quite often try to sneak in a wee nap when mum's not looking and then she'll be awake till 9pm! She is in love with her babies at the moment and thats all babies, real ones or just her dolls! she is crazy in love and wants to bring her 3 babies everywhere with her, while still remembering that mum is going to get her a new one for her birthday, one that has a soother and and smells like vanilla!

In these shots, he's totally cracking himself up! this middle shot is so sweet, we had some friends down from Calgary and I took all the kids (5 in total) to the park and Luke pushed Owen who is 5 months old round and round the park until he fell asleep, it was the sweetest thing.  The last shot is from his first class at Karate.

she even made me take a photo of it on my phone so I wouldn't remember!! Dolls are expensive these days, but I know for sure she will love this one like crazy! So this is coming for Christmas!

 This is how she rolls! Dressed up super flash for her good friend Claire's birthday, biking along the dyke with her handbag and in the backpack is two babies! and the last shot is how ren and I found her one night before we went to bed, she had made a bed in the hallway!  Max that it was great.

This kid is going to leave a huge gap in my day when she goes to kindergarten next year! We took the one on the left this morning outside school and then the one on the right is Grace with her daycare backpack on - nearly as big as her and she's heading into school.
