Little Flossie is free ...... free to roam the whole house, as long as she is only going one way and thats UP! This makes Spook both happy and sad, now he doesn't get to play in his room alone unless he shuts the door and even that doesn't keep her away, she just keeps knocking till he either lets her in or he loses the plot :) But sometimes he loves having her play and they play up there for ages and Grace just yells when she gets to the top of the steps for mum to come help her get down! She has come down face first a few times and now just prefers to yell.
Since this video was made in early March, Miss Flossie has taken her first steps alone! although she's been walking around the furniture for about 2 months now and she's always loved to stand (and rock!) she travelled 2 steps on Saturday afternoon and by Sunday she was making her way very slowly around, still preferring to crawl of course but she has amazing balance and regroups when she stumbles and tries again, sometimes not even falling over just wobbling and then regaining her balance and taking a few more steps. Will try to get her on video in the next couple of days after she's had some practice. Its funny because as i am writing this, she is crying and screaming from within her crib because she's supposed to be asleep. Grace went to bed nearly 2 hours ago and went to sleep for about an hour and has now sparked up and Ren just said that it will be nice when the bed time cry stage is over but on the other hand that means she won't be our little baby anymore ......
